I had approximately 5 concrete contractors stop by and speak with me and provide bids for my concrete work and all but one criticized what I was doing. But when Guy of Gold Country Concrete arrived his first comments were that my forms were good and what I could do to improve the forms, not "....why did you do it this way?"
Gold Country's crews were on site 2 times, once for the footing and 2 weeks later for the slab. It was a very good experience for me and if you are in the Greater Sacramento Valley and Foothills I highly recommend that you consider them for your concrete work.
Homewood Lumber is a local lumber yard that we used when we build our home in 1984 and again now with this addition. The staff in the office and out in the yard are friendly and helpful. I feel that I am getting the same service as a contractor and on top of the great service there prices are better than the warehouse home stores such as Home Depot and Lowes.
